Armed Forces Medical Services eligibility criteria 2025 : Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) has announced a recruitment notification of 400 Short Service Commission (SSC) vacancies, both male and female candidates can apply online through the official website join.afms.gov.in before last date 12.05.2025.

Armed Forces Medical Services Eligibility Criteria 2025
Educational Qualification :
Who have passed their final MBBS (Part-I & II) examination in not more than two attempts and have appeared in the NEET PG examination (anytime during the last two years i.e 2023 & 2024). Civilian doctors having a Post Graduate degree will not be required to appear in the NEET PG examination again. Marks obtained by them in NEET PG examination earlier will be taken into consideration.
Age Limit : As on 31 Dec 2025, the candidate must not have attained the age of 30 years if holding an MBBS degree (only those born on or after 02 Jan 1996 are eligible) and 35 years if holding a PG degree (only those born on or after 02 Jan 1991 are eligible) respectively.
Internship Completion : Only those candidates who have completed their internship on or before 31 Mar 2025 can apply.

Pay Scale :
As per official notification for AFMS Jobs 2025, the selected candidates will get monthly pay scale in level 10B of the Defence Pay Matrix of BP Rs. 61300 + MSP Rs. 15500 + HRA + NPA at prevalent rates + Transport Allowance Rs. 3600-7200 as per the category of the city.
