APSC CCE 2025 Exam Pattern : Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has published a notification of Combined Competitive Examination (Prelims) 2024 for recruitment of 262 posts. Interested and eligible candidates may apply for Government jobs in APSC CCE, through the official website, apscrecruitment.in from 28th March 2025 to 29th April 2025.

Assam public Service Commission, APSC CCE is a state level recruitment examination conducted by Assam public Service Commission (APSC) to select applicants for various administrative position under Assam Government. And also the exam consist of multiple stages. Those are Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam and Interview test. The applicants who qualify all exam stages are appointed to prestigious position such as Assam Civil Service (ACS).

According to the official notification for APSC CCE 2025 Exam Pattern, the applicants should not be less than 21 years and not more than 38 years of age as on 01.01.2024. Age relaxation is following the Assam Govt. rules. The candidates pay examination free category wise, mentioned below.

APSC CCE 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality : The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

Educational Qualification : The candidates must hold a Degree from a recognized university. The candidate should be able to speak Assamese or other official language or associate official languages of the State or any of the tribal languages of the State.

Age Limit : The candidate should not be less than 21 years and more than 38 years of age on 01.01.2024.

Age Relaxation : Category-wise, age relaxation mentioned below.

• OBC/MOBC : 03 years
• SC/ST : 05 years
• PwBD : 10 years

APSC Exam 2025 Selection Process/Syllabus

The Combined Competitive examination consists of two stages. :-

• The Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)
• The Main Examination (Written & Interview /Personality Test)

The Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) Details : –

The Preliminary Examination will consist of two papers of objective type multiple choice questions of two hours duration each.

• One-fourth of the total mark assigned to one question will be deducted for a wrong answer marked by a candidate.

APSC CEE Main Examination Details :-

The APSC CCE Main examination consists of two stages :

• Written Examination
• Interview/Personality test

Written Examination Details :  

On the basis of the result of the Preliminary Examination, the number of candidates to be admitted to the written part of the Main Examination will be 11 to 12 times the number of vacancies notified for each category.

The Written Examination shall consist of six papers of conventional essay type/objective type with limited words.
