SSC Selection Post Eligibility Criteria

Selection Process For SSC Phase 13 Recruitment 2025
There will be three separate Computer Based Examinations (CBE) of Objective Type Multiple Choice Question for the posts with minimum Educational Qualification of Matriculation Level, Higher Secondary (10+2) Level, and Graduation & above levels. The details of subjects, marks and number of questions (subject-wise) have been indicated below
All eligible applicants will appear for an online Computer-Based Test (CBT). The exam will have 100 objective-type questions, carrying a total of 200 marks. The test will include the following four sections:
- General Intelligence – 25 Questions
- General Awareness – 25 Questions
- Quantitative Aptitude (Basic Arithmetic) – 25 Questions
- English Language (Basic Knowledge) – 25 Questions
Duration : 60 minutes (80 minutes for candidates with benchmark disabilities).
Negative Marking : 0.50 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Marks scored by the candidates in Computer Based Examination, if conducted in multiple shifts, will be normalized by using the procedure published by the Commission vide Notice No: HQ-PP001/6/2024-PP dated 02-06-2025 and such normalized scores will be used to determine final merit and cut-off marks.
Skill Tests like Typing/Data Entry/Computer Proficiency Test etc. where prescribed in Essential Qualification, will be conducted, which will be of a qualifying nature
