SSC CPO SI Eligibility 2023

Name of Post : Sub Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces
Total Post : 1876 Vacancies.
Educational Qualification : Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent. The candidates who have appeared in their Bachelor’s degree or equivalent examination can also apply.

Sub Inspector in Delhi Police : Male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Measurement Tests (PE&MT) to be eligible for the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police. The male candidates who do not have a Valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) are eligible for the post of Sub Inspector in CAPFs only.

SSC CPO SI Exam Pattern/Syllabus 2023 Notification

Tier 1

• Number of questions: 200 Marks
• Duration: 2 hours
• Medium: Hindi/English
• Negative marking: 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer

The Tier 1 exam will be a computer-based test (CBT) that will consist of 200 questions. The questions will be of
multiple-choice type and will be based on the following four subjects:

• General Intelligence and Reasoning
• General Knowledge and General Awareness
• Quantitative Aptitude
• English Language and Comprehension

Tier 2

• Number of questions: 100 Marks
• Duration: 2 hours
• Medium: English only
• Negative marking: 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer

The Tier 2 exam will be a CBT that will consist of 100 questions. The questions will be of multiple-choice type and will be based on the following three subjects:

• General Knowledge
• Current Affairs
• Law

PET and Medical Examination

The candidates who qualify in the Tier 1 exam will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Medical Examination. The PET will consist of a series of physical tests, such as running, jumping, and lifting weights. The Medical Examination will be conducted to check the physical fitness of the candidate.
