Home & Political Department Assam Recruitment 2024 : Govt. of Assam Home & Political Department, has published a recruitment notification of 299 Public Prosecutor, Additional Public Prosecutor, Assistant Public Prosecutors vacancies. Interested and eligible candidates may apply offline, last date 30.01.2024.
As per official notification for Home & Political Department Assam Recruitment 2024, the selected candidates will get monthly pay scale up to Rs. 30,000/- to 1,12,000/- (Post-wise). The applicants pay application fees category-wise, who belongs to General (UR) pay exam fees Rs. 300/-, who belongs to SC/ST/OBC/MOBC candidates pay exam fees Rs. 200/-, and BPL candidates pay exam fees Rs.50/-, Examination fees pay through Demand Draft be drawn in favour of Secretary, Board of Secondary Education, Assam.

Service Qualification :
Public Prosecutor – Having practice as an Advocate including in the High Court for a period of not less than 8 (eight) years, basically on the criminal side.
Additional Public Prosecutor – Having practice as an Advocate including in the High Court for a period of not less than 7 (seven) years, basically on the criminal side.
Assistant Public Prosecutor – Having practice as an Advocate including in the High Court for a period of not
less than 3 (three) years, basically on the criminal side.
Educational For Govt. of Assam Home & Political Dept.
Educational Qualification :
Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University of India (established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or State Act) or an Institute recognized by the Government of Assam or by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
Domicile : The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
Age Limit : Candidates maximum age 45 years as on 01.01.2024
Age Relaxation : Category-wise age relaxation is mentioned below.
- SC/ST : 5 years
- OBC/MOBC : 3 years
- PwBD : 10 years
- Ex- Servicemen shall be 50 (fifty) years for Unreserved category and shall be relaxed by 3 (three) years for OBC/MOBC candidates and 5 (five) years for SC/ST candidates.
