ECGC PO Eligibility Criteria 2025
Nationality :
- A candidate must be:
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or
- A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962, or
- A person of Indian origin who migrated from certain countries with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Educational Qualification :
For Generalist Officers :
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
For Specialist Officers (Rajbhasha/Hindi) :
Master’s degree in Hindi/Hindi Translation with English as a core/elective subject at graduation level OR Master’s degree in English with Hindi as core/elective subject
OR Master’s in any discipline with both Hindi and English as core/elective subjects.
