Civil Defence & Home Guards Vacancy 2024: State Level Police Recruitment Board, Assam has published recruitment notification of Constable (Grade III) and Dresser vacancies under the DGCD & CGHG Assam. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online for civil defence & home guards new vacancies from 01.02.2024 to 15.02.2024.

According to the official notification for Assam police new vacancy, Constable posts pay scale Rs. 14000 – 60500/- with Grade Pay Rs.5600/- (PB-2) and other Allowances and Dresser posts pay scale Rs. 14,000-60,500 (Pay Band- II) and Grade pay Rs. 5000/- plus other allowances.

Assam DGCD & CGHG Vacancy 2024 Educational Qualification

Name of Post : Constable

Educational Qualification : H.S.L.C or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.

Other Qualification :
Candidates, except Ex-Servicemen) : Home Guard Certificate or Minimum NCC ‘A’ Certificate. The persons having H.S.L.C. passed certificate but not possessing Home Guards Training Certificate or minimum NCC ‘A’ Certificate are not eligible to apply.

Name of Post : Dresser

Educational Qualification : HSLC or equivalent of a University or Board recognized by the Govt.

Other Qualification :

A. 02 (two) years experience certificate on Dresser (Medical) work from a Govt. recognized institute.
B. Trade skill including knowledge on contamination, sterilization and disinfection of instruments, preparation of chlorine solution, antiseptic & aseptic condition, procedure of decontamination, Cleaning & Bandaging wounds and other affected body parts.

Assam Civil Defence & Home Guards Other Criteria

Candidates must be Indian Citizen, permanent resident of Assam.
Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam
Candidates must speak Assamese or any other State language fluently.

Age Limit : Candidate’s age should be 18 to 40 years as on 01.01.2024. Candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2006 and on or after 01.01.1984

Age Relaxation : Category wise, age relaxation is as mentioned below.

SC/ST (P,H) : 05 years
OBC/MOBC : 03 years
Ex-servicemen : 02 Years
