Eligibility Criteria For Assam Police Sub Inspector
Educational Qualification
Assam Police Radio Organization (APRO) :- Candidates must be B.Sc. from Electronics/IT/Computer Science.
3-year Diploma from State Polytechnic in Electronics and Tele Communication, or Electronics or Information Technology, or Instrumentation or Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent with 2 years work experience in the field of Electronics, Telecom, IT or allied environment. Or 3-year Diploma from State Polytechnic in Electronics and Tele Communication, or Electronics or Information Technology, or Instrumentation or Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent and 2 years additional course/courses in
Telecommunication /IT /Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or equivalent. B.E./ B. Tec. In E & TC or Computer or Instrumentation or IT or equivalent qualification in same discipline. Master of Computer Application (MCA).
Assam police Commando Battalion :- Candidates must be a Graduate in Arts/ Science/ Commerce from a recognized college or university.
Age Limit : – Candidate should not be more than 24 years and less than 20 years of age as
on 01-01-2023 (Candidate must be born on or before 01-01-2003 and on or after
01-01-1999).
Pay Scale :- Rs. 14,000/- 60,500/- (Pay Band No.2) plus Rs. 8,700/- Grade Pay plus other allowances as admissible under the rules.
