Eligibility Criteria For APSC Recruitment 2023

Post Name : Senior & Junior lnformation & Public Relations Officer
Qualification :
- A graduate in Science/Arts/Commerce from a recognized university only will be acceptable
(Professional/Technical Degrees allowed. - A degree/diploma in Journalism or in Mass Communication from an institute recognized by University
Grants Commission (UGC) or at least five years’ experience in Journalism in a responsible capacity in a
Newspaper/News/Public Relations Organization government Public Relations Department. - A good command over English.
- Knowledge of Assamese or any other regional language or local language of the state.
- The candidates must possess a minimum 6 (six) months Diploma/Certificate in computer proficiency From a Govt recognized institute.
Age Limit For APSC Vacancy 2023
The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and more than 38 years of age as on
01-01-2023.
The Upper Age Limit is relaxable:-
- SC/ST/STH : 05 Years
- OBC/MOBC : 03 Years
Candidate’s age limit will be calculated on the basis of matriculation/HSLC admit card or pass certificate issued by recognized Centre/State Board/Council.
